  1. Separate the Lucity Data tables from the Lucity Settings tables.

    Currently the way we were how to refresh our test instance with Production data is to copy the entire production database to the test instance. We then need to run a script that will restore all of the settings on the test site, since the production settings just over wrote them.

    Would it be possible for any tables that are basically settings information (System Settings, GIS settings/strings) to be separated from the data tables. That way, if we refresh the the test instance with production data, we won't need to run additional commands to reset everything.

    • Publish a data dictionary for version 2018.

      It would be very helpful to have a current data dictionary when working with the new modules/tables.

      • Use one manufacturers table for all the modules and sections in the module.

        Use one manufacturer lookup table for all modules (warranty, equipment, etc) with all the manufacturers pertinent information. This keeps from having to have multiple tables with the same manufacturers in them.

        • Copy Data from All Fields When Using Create A Copy Tool

          When using the Create a Copy... tool with Work Order Daily Inspections, only required fields from child records (Staff, Equipment, Contractors, etc.) are carried over to the new inspection records. This means users have to repopulate many (non-required) fields with the same information that was previously entered in the child records, effectively nullifying the benefit of being able to "create a copy" in the first place. Can the behavior of the Create a Copy... tool be modified to include all fields? Alternatively, can a new tool be added so that you can choose to copy over all fields or only…

          • Create a tool to Global Edit Employee IDs, Resource IDs, etc.

            I would like to be able to globally edit employee IDs, resource IDs, etc, and have those IDs update across all tables where they are used in current and past WOs, etc.

            • Limit access to tabs

              We would like to have the ability to limit access to tabs within the different departments using Lucity. A coworker from another department was able to delete tabs from our department without notification. By allowing the managers to delegate authority for individual tabs we would be able to prevent others from accessing information they should not have the ability to change or delete. Thank you.

              • Automate running custom report, attaching that report to an email, sending that email to a pre-defined distribution-list.

                Our department has technicians at different physical locations, with access to their email accounts.
                We need our technicians to have access to Work Orders and related reports.
                I have developed custom filters. Need ability to:
                - Run a custom report sing a custom filter.
                - Attach the above custom report to an email.
                - Send the email, with attached report), to a pre-defined distribution list.
                As an Oracle DBA, I defined cron-jobs to be run and output sent to a distribution list. Am looking for something similar here.

                • Require all Lucity users to have an Active Directory account.

                  I jut found out that mobile users do NOT require an Active Directory account to use Lucity on a tablet. I counted on employees being in an AD account for security reasons. I don;t always get told when someone has left the city or a department, but when they leave they are usually taken out of the AD group. This helped create a two step security process to access Lucity. I would like mobile ops to be secured the same as the desktop is currently.

                  • would like to see Limit List option for all fields in all forms in the Warehousing module and the Storm Module

                    currently the Limit list option is only available on certain forms and fields. this option is vital to creating a more streamlined selection process and we would like to see this option expanded to all forms and associated fields.

                    • Computer Hardware Module - show name ID and Name for Building, Floor, and Room

                      At the present the tie in records for the Building, Floor and Room show the record id #, please change to show the name of the building, floor and room. The text is more helpful for sorting and identification.

                      • Importing Outlook Contacts

                        Add an option to import your Outlook Contacts into a Recipient list for emailing reports. Maybe have a pick list to choose from. It would make things much easier than typing out every email address being added to a report.

                        • bulk download of pictures

                          We would like to be able to download all pictures attached to a case at once. We have a few cases that have 20 or 30 photos on it and downloading them all at once is a drag.

                              It would be nice to have a list of actively logged in users. Such as the one for Arcmap that shows what username and what computer the user is logged in from.

                                When a user enters an invalid value on a form, the Errors\Warnings message indicates the database field name, such as "WorkOrderUser47", instead of the more user-friendly field alias that appears on the screen. This makes it difficult for the user to understand which field the message is referring to.

                                • filter addresses based on street name selection

                                  Filter addresses based on street name selection. Currently, if I enter an address number, like 1234, on a new work order form, the street list gives me all the streets, not just the streets containing a "1234" address. The reverse would also be helpful--select the Street Name, and as a result the only valid addresses are addresses on that street. This type of feature would not be appropriate in all (any?) contexts where approximate addresses are likely to be entered.

                                  • Provide a way for admins to use a fill color to highlight certain fields on Lucity Web/Mobile forms

                                    The advantages to this enhancement would be: indicating required fields needing to be filled out; that the end user could still fill in some initial data as their work progresses without being prevented from saving because they don’t yet know another required fields’ info; and, It could also be used to identify who is responsible for entering certain information.

                                    • Order Grid of Equipment/Pump Readings Consistently

                                      In Lucity Desktop, when you look at Readings they are sorted by Date/Time with most recent on top by default. That makes perfect sense. However that is not the case in Mobile and Web. In Mobile and Web they are listed with the oldest on top by default. That can be easily changed by individual users in Web, I know, but Mobile users cannot easily do that and it doesn't save as a preference anyway. That adds time spent changing things at each piece of equipment when the crews are out doing pump station inspections.

                                      • We need a purge or archive process for the Work database

                                        We ran into an issue while upgrading to 2015r2 sp1. The upgrade script for the work database timed out. Lucity development said they'd never seen a work database as big as ours. Your great support staff got us through the upgrade by manually running the work upgrade script in SSMS. How will this be handled when the databases are all merged into one huge consolidated database? Maybe it's time for a purge or archive process? Please?

                                        • Provide ID generator for all tables using unique ID that are strings

                                          Lets me generate next unused ID string in a sequence based on a specified prefix for any record type that needs a unique value (for any field). Could just be a hotkey in the data form, e.g, type 'ABC-' then press F5, or something configured in an admin screen, like the Lucity 'Number Generator' in ArcCatalog or the 'Number format' settings in Work Options (which only apply to a few tables).

                                          The hotkey idea is nice for ID's in Categories, Tasks, most of the tables in Work, where I have a per-department naming convention. E.g, my Categories are not CAT001,…
